- The perfect water-to-quinoa ratio is 2:1—two cups of water for every cup of quinoa.
- This allows the quinoa to absorb the water fully without turning mushy.
- If you prefer slightly firmer quinoa, reduce the water to 1.75 cups per cup.
3. Dry Roast for Extra Flavor

- Avoid lifting the lid while it cooks.
5. Let It Rest and Fluff
After 15 minutes, remove the pot from heat, but leave the lid on for another 5 minutes. This resting time allows the quinoa to finish steaming. Finally, gently stir the cooked quinoa with a fork, and you’ll have perfectly cooked, fluffy grains ready to go.
